Job summary
NHS Lanarkshire is seeking a Professional and Clinical Lead for nursing services to provide expert professional leadership and guidance across the organisation. You will drive clinical audit, research activity, and governance within a multidisciplinary team to maintain high standards of care.
The role requires registration with NMC, a masters level qualification, and a full UK driving licence. You will manage Lanarkshire-wide services and influence strategic planning for patient care excellence.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration.
- Masters level education or equivalent in nursing.
- Knowledge of NHS Scotland Leadership Qualities framework or equivalent.
- Full UK/EU driving licence.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional nursing leadership and clinical advice in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Lead the development and implementation of clinical audit and research within clinical governance.
- Provide operational line management responsibility for Lanarkshire wide services (e.g., palliative care, mental health practice development).
- Assist in planning, priority setting and decision making to meet patient care and organisational goals.
