A public sector healthcare organisation in Manchester is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join their special needs nursing team. This role focuses on delivering nursing care to children with complex needs under the supervision of qualified nurses. Candidates should have a Level 3 vocational qualification in Clinical Healthcare, strong communication skills, and experience in caring for young people. This part-time position offers a salary ranging from £24,937 to £26,598 per annum and requires access to a vehicle.

The post holder works as a member of the special needs nursing team, delivering nursing care to an agreed level under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role supports special needs school nurses to ensure the health needs of young people are met safely and effectively. This includes both clinical and administrative tasks. You will work in collaboration with nurses to provide care to children with complex needs and their families/carers, whilst working in a school and community setting. Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to a vehicle. The position is 32.5 hours per week, required over five days Monday‑Friday.
