Senior Nursery Nurse

Hours: 37 per week over 5 days, 39 weeks per year.

Grade: Staffordshire Grade 6 £23,651.26 (actual)

The Senior Nursery Nurse at Chadsmead Primary Academy plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality early childhood care and education within our Early Years setting. This position is fundamental in supporting young children’s development during their formative years, ensuring their safety, well-being, and readiness for future learning.

This role requires a compassionate, skilled practitioner who shares the school’s commitment to nurturing every child’s potential. The practitioner will embody the school’s vision and values by fostering an inclusive, supportive, and stimulating environment that respects diversity and promotes positive outcomes for all children.

The post holder will primarily work within the school’s 2-Year-Old Provision, providing high-quality care and education tailored to the developmental needs of younger children. However, flexibility to work across the whole Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is essential to ensure consistency and continuity of provision across Nursery and Reception.

Responsibilities
