Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Network Engineer to design, configure and support secure networks for UK critical systems. The role is based in Yeovil with a blended hybrid working model to enable collaboration with teams and customers.

You will lead delivery for NSX-T based networking, SDN, and multi‑vendor environments, balancing hands‑on engineering with technical leadership and mentoring. BPSS screening and DV clearance considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Strong experience designing, configuring and supporting network virtualisation platforms (NSX-T).
• Ability to balance hands-on engineering with technical leadership and mentoring.
• Experience with secure, enterprise/defence environments and multi-vendor networks.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and support network virtualisation solutions within enterprise environments.
• Own engineering delivery for work packages from planning to reporting.
• Develop high- and low-level network designs and technical documentation.
• Integrate and test network components ensuring performance and security.
• Mentor and lead Network Engineers and Technicians.
