Tether Ltd. is seeking a Node.js Software Engineer to join our remotely distributed team. You will develop and maintain our P2P stack and expand our ecosystem, including over 1500 public npm modules and a modular codebase.

Qualified candidates will have proven Node.js experience, write clean modular code, and be proficient in testing and debugging. Familiarity with P2P technologies and distributed systems is highly valued, with a remote, globally distributed collaboration mindset.

Proven experience in Node.js development with production-scale applications.

• Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++), or binding JS to lower-level code.

• Demonstrated ability to optimize network protocols or systems: latency, throughput, etc.

• Familiarity with advanced networking concepts.

Past contributions to OSS projects, especially in P2P or decentralized tech.
