Job summary

Harrington Starr is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to develop front office applications using JavaScript, Node.js, React and TypeScript. This role is London-based with remote work options, offering a base salary up to £120,000 and a strong bonus/benefits package.

You will work closely with Traders and other stakeholders to deliver greenfield projects. The ideal candidate has solid experience with 3rd party APIs and front office systems, and excellent communication abilities to operate

Qualifications

BSc Computer Science or related Mathematics degree.
Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and Node.js.
Strong experience with 3rd party APIs.
Experience developing front office systems with stakeholder interaction.

Responsibilities

Design and develop new front office applications using JavaScript.
Maintain internal systems to uphold quality and standards.
Integrate real-time and historical data with 3rd party APIs (Bloomberg, FactSet, Fidessa).
Leverage historical data for analytics, automation and strategic decision making.
Collaborate with Traders and stakeholders to resolve issues quickly.
