Job summary

Advinia Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for night shifts to support care teams and deliver dignified resident care. You will work with Nurses or Deputy Manager to ensure high standards, including medication administration and care plan updates.

The role requires NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and prior experience in a similar setting, with a focus on teamwork, communication, and adaptability.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or equivalent required.
• Experience in a similar role is needed.
• Excellent people skills and communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Administering medication to residents.
• Provide hands-on, high quality resident care.
• Lead team supervision and guidance.
• Develop, implement and update care plans.
• Adhere to CQC guidelines at all times.
• Coach and mentor your team; identify training needs.

Your New Role...

Our talented Senior Care Assistants lead our Care Teams to provide the highest standard of care, compassion and resident dignity. Working closely with the Nurses or Deputy Manager, you will be tasked with:

• Administering medication
• Providing hands on, high quality Resident Care
• Team supervisions
• Developing, implementing and updating care plans
• Adhering to CQC guidelines
• Coaching and mentoring your team whilst identifying training needs

The nightshift is: 20:00 - 08:00
