Job summary

North East London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a proactive Rehabilitation Assistant to join its Community Rehabilitation Service. The role involves providing rehabilitation support to patients with stroke and neurological conditions in community settings, traveling across Havering and Barking and Dagenham to deliver therapy programmes.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, participate in supervision and training, and help maintain evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Providing rehabilitation support to patients with stroke and neurological conditions, assisting with delivery of therapy programmes, and recognizing patient abilities.
• Supervising and developing rehabilitation assistants and students through supervision and guidance.
• Maintaining quality care through evidence-based practice and adherence to national guidance.
• Working as part of the multidisciplinary Stroke and Neurology pathway with therapy colleagues in the community.
