Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Middlesbrough is seeking a Senior Physiotherapist to join the Neuroscience Rotations (Band 6). The post holder will work across The James Cook University Hospital and Redcar Primary Care Hospital, providing neuro physiotherapy across acute, rehabilitation and spinal injury settings.

You will have substantial postgraduate experience in neurology, undertake leadership duties, supervise staff and contribute to teaching and audits.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Physiotherapy and HCPC registration required.
• Experience with neurological conditions and NHS work.
• Commitment to continuing professional development in neuro physiotherapy.

Responsibilities

• Work across The James Cook University Hospital and Redcar Primary Care Hospital.
• Provide senior clinical leadership and supervise junior staff and assistants.
• Engage in CPD, audits and research, developing service and education for students.
• Contribute to MDT working and adherence to national guidelines.
