Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Network Project Manager to lead enterprise network transformation initiatives within Banking/Financial Services. The role covers delivery of network infrastructure projects and transformations, including SD-WAN and firewall refreshes, in a regulated environment.

The position is Sheffield or Birmingham-based with 3 days onsite and an initial 6-month contract, likely to extend for the right candidate.

Qualifications

8+ years of project management experience in enterprise networks.
Experience delivering network infrastructure and transformation programs in Banking/Financial Services.
Experience with SD-WAN deployments, firewall refreshes, and migrations.
Strong Cisco Routing & Switching expertise.
Experience managing RAID, governance, budgets, risks, and vendors.
Excellent stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
Able to work on-site 3 days per week in Sheffield or Birmingham.

Responsibilities

Lead enterprise network transformation initiatives within banking/financial services environments.
Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to deliver programmes on time and to scope.
Manage project RAID, governance, budgets, risks, and third-party dependencies.
Report progress to stakeholders and ensure alignment with business priorities.
