Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer in Bristol with hybrid working arrangements. You will configure security tooling, manage firewalls and VPNs, and work with SIEM/SOC teams to improve detection and response. Cloud and on‑premise security experience is essential.

You will automate deployments using PowerShell, Python, Terraform, and contribute to secure design reviews across apps, infra, and cloud services. A security‑minded, proactive professional will fit well here.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with network infrastructure and security, including segmentation, firewalls and access controls.
• Experience securing Cloud (Azure and/or AWS) and on‑prem environments.
• Security-first mindset with ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Incident response experience is desirable but not essential.

Central Bristol (various hybrid working arrangements available depending on location).

£65,000 to £75,000 + bonus, 25 days holiday, good contributory pension.

What You'll Be Doing
