Job summary

Reboot Recruit seeks a Network & Security Delivery Team Leader in a hybrid UK role (Leeds / Wakefield). The role combines hands-on delivery (approx. 80%) with coaching a small team of consultants (20%), leading enterprise projects from design to deployment.

Responsibilities centre on Cisco & Fortinet networks, SD-WAN and next‑gen firewalls, with opportunities to develop management skills and lead major enterprise initiatives across customers in the UK.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise networking and security solutions.
• Strong hands-on expertise across Cisco and Fortinet, including SD-WAN and next-generation firewalls.
• Proven experience taking technical ownership of customer projects, from design to commissioning.
• Technical depth to act as the senior escalation point for experienced engineers.
• Cisco and/or Fortinet certifications, ideally CCNP and NSE 7/FCSS or equivalent. Expired certs considered.
• Current or previous SC clearance, with ability to obtain clearance again.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to visit customer sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise networking and security projects from workshops through deployment and commissioning.
• Provide technical guidance to 5–6 consultants and lead hands-on delivery.
• Work with enterprise networking, SD-WAN and firewall technologies across major projects.
• Own design solutions, LLDS, implementation and commissioning for customers.
• Serve as senior escalation point for the delivery team.
• Travel to customer sites as required within the UK.

We're recruiting for one of the UK's largest privately owned Managed Service Providers, delivering complex network and security solutions to enterprise customers across the UK.

They're looking for a technically strong Network & Security Delivery Team Leader to take ownership of major customer projects whilst providing technical leadership to a small team of experienced consultants.

This is predominantly a hands-on technical role, with approximately 80% focused on project delivery and 20% on team leadership. You don't need previous management experience, but you do need the technical expertise to lead complex network and security projects from initial design through to implementation.

What we're looking for:

• Extensive experience designing and delivering enterprise networking and security solutions, ideally within an MSP, ISP or Systems Integrator.
• Strong hands-on expertise across Cisco and Fortinet, particularly routing, switching, SD-WAN and next-generation firewalls.
• Proven experience taking technical ownership of customer projects, including solution design, LLDs, implementation and commissioning.
• The technical depth to act as the senior escalation point and provide guidance to experienced network consultants.
• Cisco and/or Fortinet professional certifications, ideally CCNP and NSE 7/FCSS level or equivalent. Expired certifications can be considered.
• Current or previous SC clearance, with the ability to obtain clearance again.
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to attend customer sites when required.

Previous people management experience is not essential. We're equally interested in senior Network Engineers, Network & Security Consultants, Technical Leads and Network Architects who want to take their first step into leadership without moving away from hands‑on technical delivery.
