Job summary

TP ICAP Group is seeking a Senior Network Security Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement and operate secure network platforms across cloud and on‑premises. You will lead IaC with Terraform, develop automation in Python and Ansible, and drive security governance with CI/CD integration.

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with Cyber Security, Cloud Engineering and Architecture teams, ensuring resilience and compliance of enterprise services in a demanding financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience with Fortinet security products.
• Proven experience designing and operating AWS networking services, including VPNs, DNS, load balancing, routing, and security controls.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform and IaC methodologies.
• Experience with Python and Ansible for automation.
• Advanced knowledge of enterprise firewall technologies across on-premises and cloud environments.
• Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and network segmentation.
• Knowledge of digital certificates and modern cryptography.
• Experience implementing security controls and cloud-native security solutions.
• Ability to work across teams and communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, engineering, deployment, and optimisation of enterprise network security platforms across cloud and on-premises.
• Serve as technical authority for network security infrastructure; provide guidance on design and reviews.
• Design and implement IaC solutions using Terraform.
• Develop automation capabilities using Python, Ansible for efficiency and reliability.
• Integrate infrastructure automation and security into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot complex network and security issues across environments.
• Drive continuous improvement for performance, resilience, and cost.
• Collaborate with Architecture, Cyber Security and Cloud teams to evolve standards.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation and design artefacts.
• Mentor engineers and participate in major incident management.
