Job summary

Radius is seeking a Senior Network Engineer for a global organisation based in London. You will primarily work with Juniper networks and firewalls, with potential transfer from Cisco. The role is 35% project/design and 65% BAU, and you will produce basic network designs.

You will support all internal networks across UK sites and European offices, maintain routers and switches, deliver and support customer connections, assist with security and DR planning.

Qualifications

• Degree (or equivalent) in a computer related subject.
• Strong experience with Juniper Networks and firewalls.
• Experience across UK and European networks.
• Ability to produce basic network designs.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, DNS, DHCP and VPN.
• Security monitoring and backups / DR planning.

Responsibilities

• Support all internal networks across UK sites and European offices, reporting to the Head of Networks.
• Contribute to IT network project delivery, including design, build and stakeholder communication.
• Maintain and configure all routers, switches, and related network equipment.
• Deliver and support customer connections, including server sockets, VLANs and similar services.
• Assist with the configuration of internal and external switches.
• Support telephony systems, including ISDN and SIP services.
• Assist in maintaining backups, redundancies and disaster recovery processes.
• Support network security through monitoring, audits, baselining and working with assessors.
