Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
• Degree: Technical BA/BS in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 10 years in IT technologies and network design.
• Active industry certification in Networking.
• Strong understanding of IT systems architecture principles and practices.
• Proficiency in network protocols, security, and IT infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of routing and switching.
• Proven track record designing and implementing complex network and WiFi architectures.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys and design wired and wireless network solutions.
• Architect hardware, software, and network components to meet present and future requirements.
• Develop system specifications, diagrams, and documentation for implementation and maintenance.
• Ensure networks comply with OSI/ISO open standard architectures.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams for deployments.
• Test and validate network solutions for functionality and reliability.
• Analyze performance and implement improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Maintain documentation of configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements and align solutions with business objectives.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to staff.
