Job summary

Kroll is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment and operation of global network services. The role focuses on secure, highly available LAN/WAN, data centre, remote-access and cloud networking across Azure and AWS, with emphasis on network segmentation and Zero Trust.

You will evangelise automation using Ansible, Python, APIs and Terraform, while collaborating with security, cloud and service management teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• Seven years of enterprise network engineering experience.
• Experience designing highly available, secure networks.
• Ability to lead complex network delivery end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, maintenance and optimisation of network services.
• Develop architectures integrating on-prem with Azure and AWS.
• Lead segmentation, Zero Trust, and identity-based access controls.
• Administer Cisco networking, Palo Alto firewalls, VPNs and SD-WAN.
• Translate requirements into designs, plans, tests and docs.
• Monitor network health, performance, security, and resilience.
• Provide Tier 3 escalation support and root-cause analysis.
• Plan upgrades, migrations, and office deployments.
• Identify opportunities for NetDevOps and automation with Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Contribute to automation workflows and maintain change controls.
• Maintain network diagrams, standards and procedures.
• Collaborate with cloud, security and service management teams.
• Manage vendor relationships and service improvements.
• Promote governance and secure production network services.
• Provide guidance and knowledge sharing across the team.
