Job summary

bpha is seeking a Senior Network All-Rounder to design, implement, and secure a robust network infrastructure. The role requires hands-on expertise across Cisco, MikroTik, FortiGate, Meraki, and SD-WAN, with a track record of leading projects from design to deployment.

You will work in a hybrid Bedford-based setting, collaborating with colleagues to simplify complex networks and improve security. A degree and advanced certifications are preferred; driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• CCNP/CCIE or equivalent certifications preferred.
• At least 3 years' hands-on senior network experience.
• Strong experience with Cisco, MikroTik, FortiGate, Meraki, SD-WAN and VPNs.
• Ability to design and troubleshoot complex routing/switching environments.
• Proven ability to lead network projects end-to-end.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid driving licence and willingness to attend on-site as required.

Before You Apply

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years' hands-on Senior Network Engineer or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, MikroTik, FortiGate, Meraki, SD-WAN, VPNs and network security.
• Experience designing and troubleshooting complex routing and switching environments.
• Able to explain technical concepts clearly to stakeholders and non-technical colleagues.
• Proven experience leading network projects from design through to implementation.
• Proven ability to own technical issues and drive them independently to resolution.
• Relevant degree, professional certifications such as CCNP/CCIE or equivalent.
• Able to drive, with own transport and office attendance as agreed.
