Job summary

Experian - Credit Services, Identity & Fraud is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help us build and improve a mature, business-critical product. You’ll work across the full stack in a collaborative, agile team, taking features from design through to delivery in a regulated environment where security is central.

This hybrid Nottingham-based role requires 40% in the office. You’ll write secure, high-quality code in C#/.NET, work with SQL Server, ASP.NET Razor and CI/CD practices, and help

Qualifications

• Proficient in C#/.NET Framework and .NET Core development.
• Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.
• Full-stack web: ASP.NET Razor, HTML, CSS.
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and data protection.
• Solid OOP and design pattern knowledge.
• Comfortable working in an Agile team and delivering end-to-end features.

Responsibilities

• Build new features and enhancements across an established .NET product, working full-stack from data layer to UI.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable and well-documented code following standards.
• Handle sensitive data with security and data protection in mind at every stage.
• Improve performance and reliability through refactoring, DB optimization and architectural changes.
• Participate in full delivery cycle — sprint planning, standups, retros — with Product Manager to shape features.
• Help triage, maintain and improve core parts of the existing application as user base grows.
