Job summary

Arc IT Recruitment Limited represents a high-growth fintech organisation seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join their backend engineering function. The role is senior and hands-on, focusing on backend development, system design, and cloud-native architecture to support mission-critical financial services.

You will design secure, scalable platforms, collaborate with stakeholders, and contribute to architecture while enjoying remote work with occasional London visits.

Qualifications

• Extensive commercial experience with .NET/C# (senior level).
• Strong background in software architecture and system design.
• Proven experience building microservices and APIs.
• Hands-on experience with containerisation.
• Deep understanding of test automation frameworks and practices.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure, including modern cloud-native services (Functions, Cosmos DB, Event Grid).
• Experience designing secure, resilient platforms, ideally in regulated environments.

Our client, a high-growth fintech organisation delivering cutting‑edge technology to the banking and financial services sector, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (.NET) to join their backend engineering function.

This is a senior, hands‑on role with a strong focus on backend development, system design, and cloud‑native architecture. You will play a key role in shaping scalable, secure, and resilient platforms that support mission‑critical financial services.

The position suits an experienced engineer who combines deep technical expertise with strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem‑solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and evolution of backend services using modern .NET technologies
• Collaborate closely with technical and business stakeholders to shape solution design and delivery
