Location: 3 days on site in central London
Rate: £450-475 /day (inside IR35)

About the Role

A leading global financial institution is seeking experienced .NET Developers to join their London-based team. You will contribute to critical projects within Capital Markets and Risk Management, developing and enhancing enterprise-grade applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework.
  • Build scalable solutions leveraging MVC architecture and RESTful APIs.
  • Develop and support Windows desktop applications (WinForms, WPF) connected to large on-premise databases.
  • Write and optimize complex SQL Server queries.
  • Apply OOP principles and design patterns to deliver high-quality software.
  • Collaborate across business and IT teams through all SDLC phases.
  • Participate in code reviews, documentation, and CI/CD using Git.
  • Work with both legacy and modern systems.
Skills & Experience
  • 8–10 years’ experience in professional software development.
  • Expertise in C#, .NET Core / .NET Framework, SQL Server.
  • Proven experience with WinForms, WPF, and large database environments.
  • Strong understanding of MVC, REST APIs, OOP, and design patterns.
  • Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred
  • Background in Capital Markets (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Counterparty Risk, Trade Lifecycle).
