Job summary

Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 7 neonatal unit leader to drive clinical excellence and oversee day-to-day operations. The role involves setting standards, supervising staff, and leading workforce planning across neonatal services.

You will oversee governance, risk, audit, and service improvement while promoting family-centered care and research collaborations in a complex tertiary setting.

Qualifications

• NMC registration as a registered children\'s nurse or RGN is required.
• Neonatal Qualification in Specialty (QIS) is required.
• Degree in nursing or equivalent with ongoing neonatal and leadership development.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible clinical and operational leadership across the neonatal unit.
• Manage day-to-day operational running of the neonatal unit.
• Lead and develop nursing practice and maintain quality, safety and patient experience.
