Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust seeks a Neonatal Consultant to join the neonatal service. The role includes on-call duties, working across OUH sites as needed, and collaborating with a senior clinical team.

The appointee will participate in intensive care, HDU, perinatal MDTs and follow the job plan. Applicants should hold GMC registration, MBChB, MRCPCH, and relevant sub-specialty credentials.

Qualifications

• Full GMC with licence to practise.
• MBChB or equivalent.
• MRCPCH or equivalent.
• GMC Specialist Register OR CCT date within 6 months of AAC interview date.
• Higher medical degree.
• Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) or equivalent in paediatrics.
• APLS/BLS or equivalent.
• Safeguarding training Level 3.
• Neonatal Life Support Instructor.
• Transport Training.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the on-call rota and may work at other OUH sites.
• Join a team of consultants providing NICU care and neonatal transport.
• Lead a MDT and perinatal MDT to deliver neonatal services.
• Follow the agreed job plan and arranges service blocks and attendances.
