If you have a background in Product Development and are looking for a role where you can lead projects from concept to shelf, this is your opportunity. You will join a well-established, large-scale manufacturer in the North West, working out of a modern facility to develop high-quality products for a massive regional retail network.

Your Role

In this position, you will be a key player in the NPD team, specifically focusing on meat-based products and fresh chilled goods.

Take charge of new recipes and improve existing ones to keep the range fresh and exciting.
Organise factory trials, manage taste panels, and work closely with suppliers to source the best materials.
Handle the "Gate" process, approve artwork, and ensure every product is safe and legal.

What You Bring

At least 2 years of experience in an NPD role, ideally within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Understand food laws and can make sense of lab results and shelf-life data.
Degree in Food Science or Nutrition (though your experience is what counts most).
Great at planning, comfortable with Excel, and have a sharp eye for detail.
Team player who is happy to be flexible with your hours when factory trials need your attention.
