If you have a background in Product Development and are looking for a role where you can lead projects from concept to shelf, this is your opportunity. You will join a well-established, large-scale manufacturer in the North West, working out of a modern facility to develop high-quality products for a massive regional retail network.
In this position, you will be a key player in the NPD team, specifically focusing on meat-based products and fresh chilled goods.
- Take charge of new recipes and improve existing ones to keep the range fresh and exciting.
- Organise factory trials, manage taste panels, and work closely with suppliers to source the best materials.
- Handle the "Gate" process, approve artwork, and ensure every product is safe and legal.
- At least 2 years of experience in an NPD role, ideally within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
- Understand food laws and can make sense of lab results and shelf-life data.
- Degree in Food Science or Nutrition (though your experience is what counts most).
- Great at planning, comfortable with Excel, and have a sharp eye for detail.
- Team player who is happy to be flexible with your hours when factory trials need your attention.
