Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced Murex MxML Developer to work across our client base in a bank-focused setting. The role covers front-to-back MX messages, templates, and Datamart configuration, with emphasis on consolidation, mapping, and automation.

You will review MT templates, develop MX templates, enhance the MX package, and provide knowledge transfer and post-live support to ensure robust, scalable interfaces across production environments.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of work experience in application development, preferably in banking/treasury industry.
• Experience in MX2.11 and MX3.1 Back Office: MXML (Workflow, Interfaces & Templates) and Datamart Configuration & Development.
• Experience in Error handling.
• Experienced and knowledgeable in Treasury products.
• Experienced in coding and programming.

Responsibilities

• Review all existing active MT templates and provide suggestions to consolidate the MT messages into MX format for all products and entities.
• Perform a gap analysis to understand current MT mappings or format to specific products or entities, and adapt into MX format.
• Enhance the underlying Murex MX package with specific requirements or mappings for each of the templates.
• Develop a new MX template for those message types not covered by Murex MX package.
• Develop new ACK/NACK mappings to change the status of the payment flows.
• Develop new automation of MxML or Unix shell script for a real-time interface.
• Simplify the interface's current workflow to generate the MX messages and workflow for ACK/NACK.
• Clean up redundant workflows which are not used by the system.
• Knowledge transfer to existing EAD developers for future enhancements or developments.
• Prepare write-ups and regularly train Support team on common issues observed and how to manage them with new MX messages.
• Provide post-live support and any enhancements or new developments required by users.

Murex is one of the leading applications in the areas of global trading, risk management, and trade processing and we using it cross asset classes, Front to Risk to Back in a setup with multiple production environments and grids, connections to many upstream and downstream systems.
