Job summary

Enigma in London is seeking a Senior Research Engineer/Scientist to advance world models, diffusion-based methods, and multimodal AI within a hybrid work environment. The role spans research, engineering, and collaboration across teams to push the boundaries of AI systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop novel approaches beyond current transformer and diffusion methods for world modelling and multimodal AI.
• Research new model architectures, training paradigms, and representations for temporal reasoning, dynamics, and interaction.
• Take ideas from hypothesis through experimentation to robust prototypes.
• Design, implement, and optimize large-scale distributed training and inference infrastructure.
• Collaborate across research and engineering to translate advances into production-ready systems.
• Contribute to the technical community via publications and open research where appropriate.
• Help shape the technical direction and culture of a fast-moving AI organisation.
