Job summary

Ascenti is seeking an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner (APP) to lead clinical practice for NHS patients with complex MSK conditions. You will assess, diagnose, and manage patient pathways, collaborating with NHS services, regional teams, and the wider Ascenti network.

The role supports professional development and uses our online tools to share knowledge. The APP will work in clinic or from home, maintaining high standards of care, safety, and professional conduct, while advancing practice

Qualifications

• Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) recognised degree or diploma in physiotherapy.
• Post-registration qualification (MSc or equivalent) in Advanced Practice, Orthopaedic Medicine or equivalent.
• MSc module / diploma in injection therapy (or working towards).
• Full Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) membership.
• Full CSP membership.
• CPD folder with evidence of continued professional development.
• Enhanced DBS check.

Responsibilities

• Manage own clinical caseload of NHS patients with complex MSK conditions.
• Develop evidence-informed management plans using advanced assessment skills.
• Determine diagnoses and create individualized treatment plans including referrals and investigations.
• Understand NHS MSK pathways and regional care networks.
• Maintain high-quality patient notes and PROMS using NHS/Ascenti systems.
• Collaborate with Clinical Development Team and regional leads.
