Job summary

Oryon Imaging in London is seeking a qualified and experienced Senior MRI radiographer to support weekend service delivery on a part-time basis. Reporting to the Clinical Manager, you will provide a high quality, customer-focused diagnostic radiography service.

You will work within a dedicated team, ensuring patient safety, accurate data entry into RIS and PACS, and compliance with IRR/IRMER, CQC and data protection requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Radiography or equivalent
• HCPC Registration
• Experience in healthcare and patient-focused services
• Minimum 2 years MRI experience
• Good MRI physics knowledge
• CPD commitment
• PGDip/MSc in MRI desirable

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI imaging procedures per guidelines and protocols
• Conduct MRI safety checks and obtain consent
• Maintain MRI equipment and report issues
• Manage contrast media under supervision
• Coordinate triage and booking of patients
• Enter data into RIS and PACS accurately
• Ensure patient dignity and respect
• Adhere to data protection and confidentiality
• Support audits and compliance activities
• Assist with stock control and supplies
