The London Clinic in London is seeking an experienced MRI Radiographer (Band 6) to join the MRI department and contribute to delivering a high‑quality MRI service.

You will work a 37.5-hour week with mixed shifts on Monday–Saturday, including on‑call duties, alongside experienced colleagues across imaging and clinical teams, in a charitable hospital that reinvests in people and technology.

Qualifikationen

• DCR or BSc Radiography with HCPC registration.
• Two years MRI experience covering a broad range of examinations.
• Experience using computerised patient information systems and PACS.
• Solid knowledge of MRI safety screening and examination protocols.
• Clear communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to organise workload and seek senior support when needed.
• Commitment to professional development and collaborative working.
• Flexibility to work Monday–Saturday, 8am–8pm, with on-call rota.
• Desirable: IV contrast administration experience.

Aufgaben

• Complete MRI safety screening and maintain a safe environment for patients, staff and visitors.
• Explain examinations clearly and support patients before, during and after scans.
• Select and adapt examination techniques within protocols and seek senior advice when needed.
• Review image quality and liaise with radiologists on additional imaging.
• Maintain accurate records and manage workload according to priorities.
• Support students and colleagues, contributing to audits and service improvement.
• Participate in the on-call rota after training and competency sign-off.
