Job summary

MedicsPro is recruiting an experienced MRI Deputy Superintendent Radiographer for a full-time senior leadership role at a private hospital in Central London. The post covers advanced MRI imaging across multiple scanners, with responsibility for clinical leadership, protocol development and staff mentoring.

Applicants must hold current HCPC registration and have at least three years’ MRI experience, including cardiac MRI.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration (current)
• Minimum three years MRI experience, including cardiac MRI
• Experience with MRI safety, quality control, QA and clinical audits
• Ability to work independently and deputise for MRI Superintendent
• Experience with protocol development and image optimisation

Responsibilities

• Lead MRI imaging delivery, education, training, protocol development and image optimisation
• Perform a broad range of MRI examinations and support the development of cardiac MRI practice
• Vet and protocol examination requests and provide high-level MRI troubleshooting
• Deputise for the MRI Superintendent and support staff rotas and annual leave planning
• Act as a clinical mentor and complete competency assessments
• Support MRI safety, governance, audits, quality improvement and SOP updates
