Creative Resource is seeking a Senior Motion Designer to collaborate with the CD, shaping creative ideas and artistic direction for immersive live experiences and installations in Chester. You will lead motion design for live events, manage projects end-to-end and push the boundaries of 3D/VFX and real-time workflows.

Ideally you have 5+ years in motion graphics or VFX with a strong portfolio in Cinema 4D or Blender.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in motion graphics design or VFX.
• A broad portfolio demonstrating 3D motion graphics experience and 2D motion design.
• Solid experience with Cinema 4D or Blender.
• Understanding of real-time workflows; Unreal Engine or similar would be a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop ideas and artistic direction for live events and installations.
• Create motion design for large-scale projection mapping, live experiences and brand storytelling.
• Manage projects from concept through delivery, ensuring timing and quality.
• Apply strong knowledge of 3D motion design principles, animation and visual effects.

Join an award-winning studio that works with the latest interactive technology as a Senior Motion Designer.

Our Client

This studio creates state of the art immersive live experiences and counts a range of huge global brands amongst their clients. They work 5 days a week in their Chester office.

The Role

The ideal candidate will work closely with the CD, helping to come up with creative ideas and artistic direction through to motion design for live events and permanent installations, managing projects from start to finish. The role requires a deep understanding of 3D motion design principles, animation and visual effects, as well as 2D motion design. Recent projects have included large scale projection mapping shows, interactive real time games and motion graphic animations for brand storytelling.

You

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in motion graphics design or VFX, preferably in events or entertainment, but not essential. A broad portfolio demonstrating your 3D motion graphics experience, with solid experience of your chosen 3D software (Cinema 4D or Blender), as well as 2D motion design. An innovative thinker who pushes creative boundaries, with an understanding of real-time workflows and programs such as Unreal Engine or Real Time would be a bonus, as would any VR experience.
