Job summary

JAM is seeking a model-based design engineer to develop and validate behavioral models for AVC applications. You will work within the Dreadnought Active Vehicle Control Functional Software Team, deriving requirements via simulation models to secure stakeholder acceptance.

Responsibilities include creating and validating models, maintaining alignment with the real system, and facilitating integration into the Whole Boat Model framework and real-time deployments.

Responsibilities

• Identify requirements for models to support the design work
• Create the models in Matlab/Simulink
• Verify models meet user requirements
• Maintain models to stay aligned with the modeled system
• Integrate models into the AVC Vehicle Control Whole Boat Model framework
• Support deployment of models to real-time environments (e.g. rigs)
• Support validation to prove models are representative of real components or systems
