Netcompany is seeking a Mobile App Developer specializing in Kotlin to join a growing mobile team. You will design, build, and maintain Android applications and contribute to cross-platform initiatives using Kotlin Multiplatform.

Qualifications

• Proven experience developing production Android applications with Kotlin.
• Hands-on experience with Kotlin Multiplatform development.
• Hands-on experience with Google Firebase.
• Experience enhancing and optimizing existing mobile solutions.
• Strong understanding of mobile development principles and UI/UX considerations.
• Familiarity with GDS Service Standard and government digital services.
• Background working in consultancy or client-facing environments.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust Android applications using Kotlin, following best practices and architectural patterns.
• Implement and maintain Firebase services.
• Develop and maintain cross-platform solutions using Kotlin Multiplatform, maximizing code reusability across platforms.
• Enhance and optimize existing mobile solutions, identifying improvement opportunities and implementing technical enhancements.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to translate requirements into scalable mobile solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable code with comprehensive testing and documentation.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of our development processes.
• Support clients in understanding mobile best practices and GDS service standards where applicable.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, optimizing app performance and user experience.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and evaluate emerging technologies.
