Oxford Knight is seeking a highly skilled ML Researcher to join a leading market-making team in the UK. You will own the full research lifecycle, scale alpha deep learning models, and leverage petabyte-scale data to deliver immediate trading impact.

Qualifications

• Advanced training and a strong research track record in statistics, ML, AI, or a related field.
• Experience with large-scale models and their training/design.
• Ability to translate ML ideas into measurable business impact.
• Proficiency in Python with NumPy and PyTorch; capable of writing clean, scalable code.
• Hands-on ML experience with transformers, representation learning, and robust inference.
• Masters or PhD in mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, or similar highly quantitative field.

Responsibilities

• Own the full ML research lifecycle end-to-end from idea to implementation.
• Scale alpha deep learning models and petabyte-scale data to trading strategies.
• Translate insights into executable strategies and work with cross-functional teams.
• Stay at the forefront of deep learning advances to drive trading performance.
