Qualifications

• 8+ years applying ML to large-scale problems (e.g., recommendation, search, ads).
• Strong CS fundamentals; ability to translate ideas to code.
• Experience with big data systems and modern ML toolchains (NLP, multi-modal).

Responsibilities

• Apply state-of-the-art ML to search, ranking and recommendations to improve user engagement.
• Run online AB tests and analyze KPIs.
• Collaborate with US and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specs.
• Nurture ML ecosystem for scale and developer velocity.
• Provide technical leadership for ML roadmap in search & monetisation.
• Assist in recruiting and mentoring new engineers.
