Job summary

Wise is seeking an IC3 Machine Learning Engineer to join the Risk ML and Intelligence team in London. You will ensure label-layer quality and integrity, monitor data quality, and design audits for reliable ML data.

You will work across model training, evaluation, and deployment with Python or Java, SQL, and cross-functional partners. The role emphasizes autonomous teamwork and scalable ML infrastructure.

Qualifications

• A STEM degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
• Strong statistical fundamentals with data analysis experience.
• Hands-on ML lifecycle across training, evaluation, and deployment.
• Programming in Python or Java and solid SQL capability.
• Experience building static data pipelines and performing deep-dive data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build, scale and maintain the label platform's integrity layer for Risk ML models.
• Define and monitor statistical metrics and data quality indicators.
• Design automated audits to evaluate label quality over time.
• Work end-to-end on model training, evaluation and deployment, collaborating with Risk Intelligence, Data Engineering, and Product.
