Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join a greenfield AI product team within a global tech business. You will design, build and operate production-grade ML systems from the ground up, with ownership from day one.

Responsibilities include building end-to-end ML pipelines, deploying models, and implementing MLOps practices across real-time and batch data. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to deliver high-impact AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience in ML engineering or similar applied ML roles.
• Proven track record deploying ML systems to production.
• Experience designing scalable data pipelines and ML infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Databricks and cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Knowledge of production monitoring and MLOps best practices.

Responsibilities

• Build and own end-to-end ML solutions from data ingestion to deployment and monitoring.
• Develop scalable data pipelines for real-time and batch data.
• Train, deploy, and maintain ML models in production.
• Work with Databricks, AWS, Python, Kafka, and modern MLOps tooling.
• Leverage ML, LLMs, and multimodal AI across data sources.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and business stakeholders to deliver solutions.
• Contribute to system architecture, platform design and best practices.
• Drive measurable improvements through AI-powered decisioning.
