Job summary

Qureight, a Cambridge/London based biotech AI company, seeks a Machine Learning Engineer to scale its AI-driven imaging platform. You will focus on development, training, optimisation and inference of state‑of‑the‑art computer vision models on volumetric CT data, collaborating with ML Scientists, DevOps, Data Engineering and Software teams to turn research into robust workflows.

You will ensure efficient training, secure deployment, and scalable operation, contributing to reproducible pipelines,

Qualifications

• Strong Python and PyTorch experience, including model training and inference codebases.
• Experience building, optimising and maintaining ML training and inference pipelines.
• Experience with containerised ML workflows and Docker-based tooling.
• Experience deploying models using ONNX, TensorRT or similar frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Linux shells, Git, and modern Python tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, scalable inference pipelines for production use.
• Deploy models into production using ONNX, TensorRT or similar frameworks.
• Build and optimise scalable ML training workflows.
• Optimise data loading, logging, checkpointing and resource utilisation for large-scale training.
• Bridge research and production by creating maintainable engineering components.
• Support cloud-based ML infrastructure and tooling (e.g., MLFlow).
• Create and maintain CI pipelines for model training, testing and deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with DevOps and infrastructure teams on deployment patterns.
