Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Mixed Tax Senior for a well-established accountancy practice near Rochester. You will manage a range of tax compliance tasks and provide tailored advice to mid-market clients, ensuring timely filings and accurate tax positions.

The role covers personal and corporate tax, VAT, and planning strategies, with opportunities to mentor junior colleagues and build long-term client relationships. A ATT or CTA qualification or equivalent is required.

Qualifications

• ATT or CTA qualification or equivalent experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
• Experience in personal and corporate tax matters.
• Excellent client relationship and advisory skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns for individuals and businesses, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Provide tailored tax advice to clients on income tax, corporation tax, and VAT.
• Support clients with tax planning strategies to optimise their financial outcomes.
• Assist with HMRC enquiries and liaise with them as required.
• Keep up to date with changes in tax legislation and communicate updates to clients and the team.
• Work closely with other departments to provide a seamless service to clients.
• Support junior team members with training and development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure trust and long-term partnerships.
