Job summary

LT Harper Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to make Defender and Sentinel work for enterprise customers. You’ll deploy, tune, automate and collaborate with SOC Analysts to sharpen detections.

This hands-on build role sits in a Microsoft Cyber Engineering team with hybrid work, primarily remote and one day per month in the London office, developing automation across SIEM and cloud security.

Qualifications

• Solid background as a Security/SOC Engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security technologies and KQL.
• Experience with SIEM platforms (Sentinel, Splunk, Rapid7, LogRhythm).
• Ability to lead and design automation in SIEM tools.
• Experience analyzing cloud security risks and audits.

Responsibilities

• Deploy Defender and Sentinel for enterprise customers and tune configurations.
• Conduct tenant assessments, configurations, audits, and architecture reviews.
• Design, build and deploy automation across the SOC and SIEM workflows.
• Collaborate with SOC Analysts to improve detection and automate improvements.
• Research new technologies and document security processes.
