Job summary

EY in London is seeking a Senior Manager — Microsoft AI Technical Architect to lead secure, scalable AI and agentic solutions for financial services clients. You will own solution architecture from discovery through to production handover, partnering with CIO/CTO/CDO and enterprise teams to translate requirements into practical architectures.

The role requires deep Microsoft AI services knowledge, identity management, and low‑code platform experience, with strong Microsoft ecosystem

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Solution/Technical/Enterprise Architect or senior leader delivering complex Microsoft‑based solutions.
• Delivery of AI, integration, data or cloud solutions from design through to production.
• Experience designing end‑to‑end architectures with orchestration, data movement, identity, controls and failure paths.
• Experience applying architecture governance, design assurance, security review and responsible‑AI controls.
• Experience engaging senior technology stakeholders and presenting to architecture boards or design authorities.

Responsibilities

• Solution architecture and technical design across business journeys, applications, data, integration, identity, security, controls and non‑functional requirements.
• Lead architecture discovery and create current-state/target-state architectures and roadmaps.
• Decompose business use cases into agents, tools, workflows, data products, APIs and approvals.
• Make and defend platform choices across Cowork, Autopilots, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, Azure AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI Service and related services.
• Define non‑functional requirements covering scalability, latency, resilience, cost and recoverability.
• Design secure integration with systems of record using certified connectors, APIs and data pipelines.
• Develop grounding and retrieval using Microsoft Fabric, OneLake and curated data products.
• Embed secure‑by‑design and responsible‑AI controls in architecture and governance.
