Job summary

STADA UK Thornton & Ross in Huddersfield is seeking a Senior Microbiologist to lead microbiology operations and ensure product quality in a cGMP environment. You will apply advanced microbiological knowledge to testing, the cleanroom and production environment, and key quality systems while enabling timely product release.

With autonomy, you will own projects, mentor staff, oversee environmental monitoring, and collaborate with the Microbiology Supervisor on workload and reporting, ensuring

Qualifications

Degree in Microbiology or related science.
Hands-on microbiology lab experience.
GMP knowledge with QRM and ALCOA+ Data Integrity.
Supervisory experience cited (not a people management role).
Experience with Pharmacopoeial microbiology methods.
Proficient with LIMS and Excel for data management.

Responsibilities

Lead microbiology operations to cGMP/GLP standards.
Own site-wide microbiological monitoring and sampling.
Interpret data and drive certificates of analysis.
Lead investigations and method improvements.
Mentor microbiology staff and balance workloads.
Present data and regulatory positions across the site.
