Job summary

MacGregor Black is partnering with a high-growth womenswear fashion brand to recruit a Senior Merchandiser near Chester. This full-time, office-based role leads merchandise planning and commercial performance across the range, using sales data and customer insights to shape seasonal collections and optimise margin.

You will manage OTB, monitor stock levels, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate closely with Design, Product, Sourcing, Ecommerce and Marketing to ensure the right

Qualifications

• 6+ years of merchandising experience in fashion.
• Experience in fast-paced retail/ecommerce.
• Proven track record in seasonal range planning, forecasting, OTB and inventory.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills; translate data into actions.
• Understanding of product trends, brand position and consumer behavior.
• Experience building balanced product assortments across multiple categories.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration across Product, Design, Sourcing, Ecommerce and Marketing.
• Commercial, organized, and entrepreneurial mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver seasonal merchandise and range plans.
• Collaborate with Design, Product Development and Sourcing to build collections.
• Use sales data and market trends to inform range planning.
• Forecast seasonal sales and manage Open-to-Buy budgets.
• Monitor margin, stock levels and inventory mix.
• Produce weekly reporting on sales, inventory and KPIs.
• Provide commercial insights for seasonal range planning.
• Mentor junior merchandisers.
