Job summary

Retail Human Resources plc is seeking an experienced Senior Merchandiser for a 12-month fixed-term contract in London. You will lead planning and trading of a department, owning sales, profit, margin and stock performance.

You will drive WSSI, forecasting, OTB and range planning, collaborating with Buying and Design to create commercially strong ranges and react quickly to changing sales trends, while building and mentoring a merchandising team.

Job description

A well-established fashion retailer is looking for an experienced Senior Merchandiser to join its team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a high-impact opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership, influencing commercial strategy and working in a fast-paced, product-led environment.

You’ll lead the planning and trading of a department, taking responsibility for sales, profit, margin and stock performance. Alongside managing WSSI, forecasting, OTB, range planning and stock flow, you’ll work closely with Buying and Design to build commercially strong ranges, identify opportunities and react quickly to changing sales and customer trends. You’ll also lead and develop a merchandising team.

You’ll need strong merchandising experience, ideally at Senior Merchandiser level, with advanced WSSI and weekly trading capability. A solid track record in forecasting, range planning, departmental OTB and stock management is essential, alongside confident commercial decision-making. You’ll be comfortable managing and developing teams, working with senior stakeholders and turning analysis into clear, profitable action.
