Job summary
Dalkia UK is seeking a Senior Technical Manager to lead our Technical Management team on complex MEP projects. This project-based role focuses on pre-construction, guiding technical strategy, interrogating designs and de-risking before site delivery.
You will coordinate across disciplines, manage risk, drive value engineering, and ensure compliance with Building Safety Act and CDM regulations, delivering coordinated, deliverable designs for multiple sectors.
Qualifications
- Proven experience leading MEP design management on complex construction projects.
- Breadth of Building Services Engineering experience.
- Experience managing projects with £5M–£50M MEP value.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of design and technical management during pre-construction phases.
- Develop and manage technical strategies and deliverables plans aligned with project goals.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate design and technical risks.
- Lead technical reviews and challenge design solutions for best outcomes.
- Ensure effective design coordination across multidisciplinary teams.
- Engage the right technical specialists at the right time to support project success.
- Drive value engineering and design optimisation.
- Ensure compliance with Building Safety Act (BSA), CDM Regulations and industry standards.
