Job summary

Madigan Gill is seeking an experienced MEP Manager to join a main contractor delivering a student accommodation development in Acton, West London. You will manage and coordinate all electrical, mechanical and public health services through the construction phase, ensuring safety, programme adherence, budget control and quality.

Responsibilities include coordinating installations, reviewing designs and specifications, monitoring progress, and guiding handover readiness with the project team.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an MEP Manager with a main contractor.
• Experience delivering student accommodation, residential or hotel developments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical building services.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP subcontractors and oversee daily site activities.
• Coordinate mechanical, electrical and public health installations with the wider construction team.
• Review MEP designs, drawings, submissions and specifications.
• Monitor programme progress, identify risks and resolve coordination issues.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, health and safety requirements and project specifications.
• Manage quality inspections, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Attend subcontractor meetings and report progress to the Project Manager.
