Job summary

North London NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a forward-thinking senior mental health practitioner to join the Health in Justice Liaison and Diversion service across north and central London sites, including police custody suites and courts. You will work autonomously to screen, assess and refer across sites and partner with criminal justice agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience as senior mental health practitioner within Health in Justice Liaison and Diversion services.
• Experience across police custody suites and court services.
• Knowledge of legislation and information sharing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide all-age autonomous identification, screening, assessment and onward referral at the respective sites; respond professionally to requests for information and assistance.
• Collaborate with criminal justice system and partner agencies to determine risk and onward care.
• Work across sites and hours, contributing to 7 days per week service including Bank Holidays and weekends.
