Job summary

Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 6 clinician for the Home Treatment Team in Greenwich. The role involves providing clinical input, complex assessments, and high-autonomy decision-making to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions.

You will lead and mentor junior staff, coordinate shifts, manage referrals and coordinate resources, delivering person-centred care across multidisciplinary teams in a community setting.

Qualifications

• Senior clinician providing gatekeeping of acute inpatient admissions and complex assessments.
• Demonstrates advanced risk formulation skills and autonomous decision-making.
• Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, Mental Capacity Act and related legislation.

Responsibilities

• Lead clinical teams, mentor junior staff and ensure safe, recovery-focused care.
