We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Mental Health Nurse to join our Mental Health team at HMP Onley, a Category C Prison located in Rugby. There is on-site parking, on-site gym, and plenty of training and development opportunities.

Hours
37.5 hours per week, 3‑week rolling rota (8‑4 / 8:30‑4:30, 1 day on weekends)

Salary
Full time, annual salary up to £48,118 per annum FTE, depending on experience.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for assessment and ongoing management of patients' mental health needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the multi‑disciplinary team as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients, assessing physical, social and psychological needs to develop a holistic health care plan.
  • Contribute to our nursing strategy and vision: provide evidence‑based care, seek and act on patient feedback to personalise care.
  • Deliver non‑judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
  • Actively participate in assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care following policies and procedures, always considering safeguarding.
