A public healthcare organization in Camden Town seeks a dynamic pharmacist to join the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team. This role involves supporting the safe and effective use of medicines and engaging collaboratively with partners in the North East London area. The ideal candidate will have a Master's in Pharmacy, professional registration, and at least 5 years of experience. The team focuses on quality, evidence-based medicine practices to benefit local communities.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a dynamic pharmacist to join the NEL ICB Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team. In the changing NHS Landscape, the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation Team is continuously developing collaborative engagement with partners across the borough and the wider North East London environment. Through commissioning, the team promotes the development of safe and effective provider-based medicines optimisation functions, to enable clinical and cost-effective use of medicines for our population.
This post is based in the Pharmacy and Medicines Optimisation team. The team provides an effective and professional Medicines Optimisation service to our local boroughs as well as matrix working across the borough and its stakeholders. The post holder will support the safe, quality and cost-effective use of medicines, that is evidence based, by implementing the principles of medicines optimisation. Senior Medicines Optimisation pharmacists will also be expected to support NEL-wide initiatives, programmes or work and/or clinical specialties, as agreed and allocated. This may involve working under the supervision of a different Lead/Head of/Deputy Director of Medicines Optimisation.
