Word Monster is seeking a senior medical writer to join our Med Comms vertical on a fully remote, permanent basis. You’ll own written content across medical education and medical affairs deliverables for healthcare professionals and patients, while interfacing with a dedicated account team and ABPI standards.

Based in the UK, you’ll report to the Associate Scientific Director and collaborate with a Senior Medical Writer on the account, driving quality and client satisfaction while contributing

Formación

• Proven experience as a medical writer in an agency setting.
• A life sciences undergraduate degree.
• Experience writing for both healthcare professionals and patients.
• Experience with medical affairs and medical education deliverables.
• Confident leading and contributing to client calls.
• Working knowledge of ABPI and other codes.
• Experience reviewing and editing copy from in‑house or freelance writers.

Responsabilidades

• Write clear, accurate content across medical education and medical affairs deliverables for HCP and patient audiences.
• Produce patient information brochures, visit guides, retention materials and other trial-related materials from protocols and source documents.
• Question briefs to clarify gaps and avoid assumptions, contributing to strong storytelling and scientific accuracy.
• Join client calls as a named team member and address day-to-day queries directly.
• Review and edit copy from in-house and freelance writers, providing timely feedback.
• Adapt quickly to new therapy areas and ABPI requirements.
• Spot growth opportunities within the account and support scope and proposals.
